Hello creative friends! I hope everyone is having a great week. We’re having a rainy January here in North Alabama. Anyway, I have a super special project to share with you all today!
As I mentioned back in December, I made it to the second round of the Spellbinders design team competition. Well, I didn’t make it to the last round, but that’s okay because I get to share what I made with you all!
I really tried to step outside of my box for this project and I am so happy with the result. I‘m not a scraper by any means, but I think that I could really get into making mini albums.
My inspiration for this came from Emma’s 100% Sweetness stamp set. The pages of the album are actually from a cardboard box. I just used the flaps and I tore it to expose the corrugation. I inked all of the pages with Vintage Photo Distress Ink as well.
I made a video where I talk about the album in a bit more detail. I’m trying to become more comfortable filming, but I don’t talk loud in person. And I have a tendency to talk extremely fast, so I go back on forth on filming. But, as I mention in the video, I will be making another one, and if there is enough interest, I think I’m willing to at least attempt to film it.
Since this post is heavy photo wise, I didn’t want to bore you all with my rambling, so I apologize if I neglected to mention something. Thanks for coming by. I will be back tomorrow with some ideas for Valentines for those of you with school age kids. Have a blessed day!
