Thank You Card

I decided a while back that I was going to work on building a stash of cards, and naturally, I’m starting with thank you cards.

I used Straight From the Nest to cut the out the flower, and I think the top note came from Storybook. This is one of the few times I didn’t write down the details in my notebook. The cut, is Flower 3, and it’s found on page 52. It’s cut at 3.25”. The flower reminds me of Floral’s Embellished a little. I don’t own it, but it’s on my list now.

DSCF7081Same design, I just used navy ribbon and green cardstock.

The patterned paper came from a My Mind’s Eye stack I got from HL. And the cardstock is DCWV and Paper Company.  I inked around all of the pieces with Close to Cocoa ink from Stampin’ Up. And I stamped the sentiment with the same ink. I’m a bit of a bow fanatic, and I’m addicted to grosgrain ribbon. A lot of people say that they can’t tie bows, and if I could give any advice, it would be to buy a stiffer ribbon. I personally think that helps. I finished them off with a piece of pink on the inside. I left them blank for note or another sentiment.

Thanks for coming by. Have a blessed day!
