Baby Shower Favors–MCT Sneak Peaks Day #4

Hello everyone! Today we’re introducing the Bubblegum Treat Box die. Initially, I thought I would make like wedding shower favors or something of that nature, but I was going through my papers and I decided I would make baby shower favors instead. And, I’m happy to announce that I used my Cricut to cut something other than a tag! Go me, woot woot!!

For the sake of full disclosure, I am not having a kid and I made these specifically for release week. The papers that I used to cut my boxes came from the DCWV Nana’s Kids stack. This was one of the very first paper stacks that I bought and for some reason I just LOVE it. I think I have baby fever or something. I cut one in Recollections Kraft to give everyone an example of a more simple treat box.

My little duckie safety pins came from the Baby Steps cartridge. Again, I have no idea why I bought that cartridge. No kids! Anyway, I cut the base layer of the image in DCWV shimmer cardstock. Instead of using black for the eye layer, I decided to use Kraft. The yellow layer is Papertrey Ink Lemon Tart and the wing and beak come from a orange cardstock I got from Hobby Lobby.

I used some mini clothespins to add my sentiment tag. The stamp set I used is called Teeny Tag Greetings. I stamped my sentiments with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and the papers are Lemon Tart and Spring Rain. I used Martha Stewart bakers twin the decorate the boxes and close them a bit.
